University of MichiganAnn Arbor, MI

Blaze has completed numerous projects for the University of Michigan. Some projects include Stephen A. Ross School of Business, Elmer D. Mitchell Field, Munger Hall, Stockwell Hall, and the Athletic South Competition & Performance project. Blaze has self-performed mass excavation, contaminated soil disposal, storm, sanitary, and water main installations and modifications, Earth Retention Systems, and various parking lots and athletic fields.

Oakland UniversityRochester, MI

Blaze self-performed the site demolition, land balance, mass excavation, and site utility work. Projects include the Upper Athletic Fields, the Bell Tower, and the Engineering Building.

Wayne State UniversityDetroit, MI

Blaze has completed various site and utility work on numerous projects that include the New WSU Parking Lots, the WSU Parking Garage, the WSU Residence Hall, the WSU Medical Center Commons, WSU Bioscience Center, and the WSU McGregor Pond Renovation. In addition, Blaze completed the emergency bleacher repairs and complete upgrade of the Adams Football Field and Athletic Complex. Blaze maintains a blanket repair contract.

Henry Ford Community CollegeDetroit, MI

Blaze completed the major site renovation of the entire campus that included site demolition, earthwork, site utility modifications, sidewalks, curbs, and asphalt paving. Blaze installed one of the largest underground precast concrete Storm Trap water detention systems in SE Michigan. The detention system was 470,000 cubic feet under the asphalt parking lot.

DPS SchoolsDetroit, MI

Blaze completed the site work for more than 15 new DPS schools in both the 1994 $1.5 Billion Bond Issue and the $500 Million Bond Issue of 2007. A partial list of the schools include Central, Mumford, MLK High School, Cass Technical School, Murray Wright High School, Northwestern, Southeastern, Western, and Performing Arts High Schools plus Gompers, Brightmoor, Clark, and Munger Middle Schools. Blaze was also involved in the Toledo Schools program and completed the site work for several new schools. Some schools of note include Woodward High School and McTigue Middle School.
