Blake Transit CenterAnn Arbor, MI
Blaze self-performed the site work and building pad preparation for the construction of the new transit center in Ann Arbor, MI. The site work included the abandonment and relocation of the existing wet utilities, mass excavation, site grading, and new water main, storm, and sanitary sewer.
M-1 RailDetroit, MI
Blaze relocated the existing utilities to make room for the new 3.5 mile M-1 Rail. Site utility relocations included water main, electrical duct bank, and storm sewer. Blaze was also involved in the M-1 Vehicle Maintenance Facility.
i-375 Greektown Exit RampDetroit, MI
Blaze was the prime contractor for the first privately funded MDOT project that consisted of widening the expressway exit ramp. This ramp provides easy access to the Greektown Parking Structure. Work included site demolition, site utilities, site lighting, slope restoration, concrete and asphalt pavement, concrete retaining wall, and signage/pavement markings.
